Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Jam 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Take the dough out of the freezer.
Step 2
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2–3 mm.
Step 3
Cut several strips of dough using a pizza cutter. Then, cut the dough into squares, each measuring 5 cm on each side.
Step 4
Brush the edges of the dough with beaten egg.
Step 5
Place strips of dough along the edges of the prepared bases to create borders.
Step 6
Prick each cookie with a fork.
Step 7
Place a small amount of jam in the center of each cookie.
Step 8
Brush the edges with the remaining beaten egg.
Step 9
Bake the cookies at 390°F for 10 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
Step 10
Serve the puff pastry cookies with tea.
