Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Margarine 10 oz
- Light Beer 10 fl oz
- Lemon ½ piece
- Sugar to taste
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Rub the softened margarine with the flour. Add lemon juice, beer, and salt. Knead a fairly stiff dough and place it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Step 2
Roll out the chilled dough thinly, fold it like an envelope, and roll it out again. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
Step 3
When the dough is rolled out for the last time, brush the top with egg and sprinkle with sugar. Then cut into diamond shapes with a knife and bake until done. The finished cookies should puff up and caramelize on top.
