Puff pastry buns with cottage cheese filling and raisins
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 15 oz
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Semi-soft cream cheese 15 oz
- Vanillin ⅓ teaspoon
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
- Light Raisins, Seedless to taste
- Sour Cream 2 tablespoons
- Toasted Sesame to taste
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the cottage cheese, 1 egg, sour cream, vanillin, and soaked, dried raisins.
Step 2
Thaw the pastry, cut it into 2 parts.
Step 3
Roll out into a rectangle measuring 15x35 cm. Spread half of the filling, leaving a little space from the edges.
Step 4
Roll it up, pinch the edge, turn it over with the seam side down. Cut into pieces 3–4 cm wide.
Step 5
Repeat the same with the second part of the pastry. Place on parchment paper, brush with egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds (or poppy seeds, cinnamon, sugar...). Bake at 390°F until golden brown. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.
