Provençal Mayonnaise
Ingredients
- Vegetable Oil 10 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
- 9% Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Mustard Greens 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the egg, place it in a glass, and pour boiling water over it for 30 seconds, then remove and dry.
Step 3
Crack the egg and carefully place it in a mixing container, ensuring the yolk remains intact. Important: the mixing container should match the size of the blender or be slightly larger.
Step 4
Add salt.
Step 5
Add sugar.
Step 6
Add mustard.
Step 7
Add vinegar and pour in the vegetable oil.
Step 8
Place the blender in the glass so that the egg is completely under the blender's blade.
Step 9
For the first 30 seconds, try not to move the blender, then lift it slightly up and down for another 30 seconds.
Step 10
Transfer the mayonnaise to a storage container and keep it in the refrigerator for no more than a week.
