Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder 3 tablespoons
- Vanilla salt 0 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Water 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar 5 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the softened butter with sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla sugar and gradually introduce the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step 2
Gradually add the sifted flour mixed with baking powder and salt to the butter mixture. Mix well.
Step 3
Divide the mixture in half, and add 2 tablespoons of cocoa to one half, mixing well.
Step 4
Layer the white batter in a greased baking pan, then add a layer of chocolate batter and make a few swirls with a spoon to create marble patterns. Bake at 355°F for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
Step 5
Prepare the glaze by mixing 1 tablespoon of cocoa with 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar, adding boiling water, and mixing well. Spread the glaze over the top of the cake. Sprinkle with the remaining powdered sugar.
