Potato Cake
Baking and Desserts • Portuguese
Description
The Potato Cake was originally conceived as a sweet imitation of the root vegetable of the same name. The cakes are shaped from a light sponge cake mixture and then rolled in cocoa powder to achieve the effect of a thin skin. For a complete resemblance, add eyes made of cream—such as buttercream.
