Description

You can replace the bouillon cube with real broth: add water to the broth to make 2 liters, and simply pour it into the pot with the leeks.

Ingredients

  • Leek 3 stalks
  • Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Potato 6 pieces
  • Bouillon cube 1 piece
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Wash the leeks, peel them, cut them lengthwise, and then slice them into 2 cm pieces. Cut the potatoes into cubes.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a large pot, add the leeks, and cook, stirring, over low heat for 10 minutes until they become golden brown.

Step 3

Pour in 2 liters of water and add salt (remember that the bouillon cube is also salty). Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, then add the potatoes and let cook for 30 minutes until they are soft.

Step 4

Crumble the bouillon cube, add 2–3 tablespoons of the soup, stir, and pour everything into the pot. Serve immediately.
