Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 1 piece
- Plums 30 oz
- Sugar 4 tablespoons
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thaw the puff pastry.
Step 2
Wash the plums, cut them in half, and remove the pits.
Step 3
In a skillet, make caramel: cut the butter into cubes, melt it, add 4 tablespoons of sugar, and stir until caramel forms (set aside 3–4 cubes to place on the plums under the pastry).
Step 4
Pour the caramel into a silicone mold, and place the plums cut side up on top. Place 3–4 cubes of butter on the plums.
Step 5
Cover with pastry and tuck it under the fruit.
Step 6
Prick the pastry with a fork wherever possible, and send it to the oven for 35–40 minutes at 375°F.
Step 7
Once the pastry is baked, remove the tart and flip it onto a plate that is larger in diameter than the baking mold.
