
Plum Compote with Cinnamon

Ingredients
- Plums 30 oz
- Sugar 1.3 cups
- Cinnamon 2 pieces
- Vanilla Pod 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large pot, combine halved plums, 1 cup of sugar, and cinnamon.
Step 2
Extract the seeds from the vanilla and add only the pod to the pot.
Step 3
Place over low heat and cook, stirring, for about 45 minutes until the compote thickens and the plums become very soft. Add more sugar if necessary.
Step 4
Remove from heat and cool. Transfer to a bowl, remove the pits, vanilla pod, and cinnamon.
