Ingredients

  • Salt ½ g
  • Wheat Flour 0 oz
  • Egg white 4 pieces
  • Pistachios 0 oz
  • Chopped almonds 0 oz
  • Almond 2 spoons
  • Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Brown Sugar 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Grease and flour round financier molds; you can also use mini muffin pans.

Step 2

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the butter without stirring until it turns a caramel color. Strain it through a sieve into a bowl and let it cool.

Step 3

Mix the egg whites with white and brown sugar and salt. Add the flour, baking powder, ground pistachios, and almonds. Pour in the oil and mix everything thoroughly until you achieve a smooth consistency. Refrigerate for one hour.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 345°F. Take the dough and distribute it into the molds (one teaspoon in each mold). Sprinkle with crushed pistachios and bake until golden brown, about sixteen minutes.
