  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Water 0 fl oz
  • Grapefruits 3 pieces
  • Citrus Zest Mix 1 teaspoon
  • Grenadine 1 teaspoon
  • Vodka 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a saucepan, mix water and sugar, place over medium heat, and cook until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook for another 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 2

Juice the grapefruits, mix with the grenadine syrup and vodka. Stir in the sugar syrup and grated grapefruit zest. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 3

Remove the sorbet from the refrigerator and pour it into an ice cream maker, churning for 20–40 minutes. Then transfer to a container and place in the freezer for 4–5 hours until fully frozen.

Step 4

If you don't have an ice cream maker, immediately pour the sorbet into a container and place it in the freezer. Take the container out and stir the contents every 10-15 minutes until fully frozen.
