Pineapples with Rum
Ingredients
- Pineapple 1 piece
- Raw cane sugar 2 spoons
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Coconut Milk 15 fl oz
- Rum 5 fl oz
- Mint 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the pineapple into six equal slices and grill each slice on a dry griddle pan. Cook for three minutes on one side, then three minutes on the other. Trim off the inedible skin from the sides of each slice. Mix the coconut milk with sugar, the juice of two lemons, and rum, and simmer on low heat for about ten minutes.
Step 2
Pour the sauce over the pineapple slices and let them cool. Then, place them in the refrigerator. Serve very cold.
