Pineapple Pie
Baking and Desserts • European
Description
If the dough turns out to be too thick, you can add a few tablespoons of syrup from canned pineapples. I always add 3–4 tablespoons.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Canned Pineapple Chunks 1 can
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
- Cherry 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter (it doesn't have to be completely melted, just soft).
Step 2
Beat the eggs and sugar, then add the butter and beat again.
Step 3
Add the flour with baking powder and mix thoroughly. The dough should not be thick! It should be runny.
Step 4
In a greased baking dish, place the canned pineapple rings at the bottom. In each ring, and between them, place the cherries. Pour the prepared dough over the fruits.
Step 5
Place the dish in a preheated oven at 390°F for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 355°F and bake for another 35 minutes.
