Pineapple Coconut Sorbet
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Coconut Milk 5 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root 1 piece
- Pineapple 5 lbs
- Lime Juice 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the pineapple and cut it into small pieces. Transfer to a food processor and blend until smooth.
Step 2
Combine coconut syrup, pineapple puree, and lime juice. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Pour into an ice cream maker and freeze. Alternatively, pour into a container and place in the freezer for about 6 hours, stirring every 45 minutes.
Step 4
In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and chopped ginger. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring for 1.5–2 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes. Strain into a bowl.
