This is a very simple, quick, and incredibly delicious recipe!
Ingredients
- Canned Pineapple Chunks 1 can
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the pineapple rings on a paper towel or napkin (the napkin does not stick to the pineapples) to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
Next, on a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 2–3 mm and cut it into long strips 1–1.5 cm wide. Wrap a strip around each pineapple ring.
Step 3
Place the prepared 'flowers' on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 4
Brush the strips with egg yolk or sweet water and place in a preheated oven at 390°F (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 30 minutes.
Step 5
When the chrysanthemums are ready, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
