Description

The café 'Corner Café' is a popular tourist spot located in Clear Meadow. Here, they bake pies by combining cabbage and carrots, which enhances their flavor while keeping it recognizable. Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 1½ kg
  • Water 0 qt
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 5 pieces
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Margarine 5 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • White Cabbage 1½ kg
  • Carrot 20 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the dough, pour sugar into warm water, add salt, margarine, eggs, and yeast, then mix well. Gradually incorporate the flour and knead until you have a soft, uniform dough. Allow it to rise for 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the quality of the yeast.

Step 2

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Shred the cabbage and grate the carrot on a coarse grater. Place them in a skillet with oil and sauté until cooked through. Season with salt to taste.

Step 3

From the risen dough, shape balls weighing 38 grams each and flatten them into discs. Place 25 grams of filling on each disc. Pinch the edges to seal the pastries. Bake in the oven at 355°F for 25–35 minutes until fully cooked.
