Ingredients
- Plums 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan, add sugar, mix thoroughly, and leave on low heat. Cut the plums in half. When the sugar starts to dissolve, add the plums (the temperature change may cause the caramel to clump, but this is temporary). After simmering the plums on low heat for about 5 minutes, remove them. The caramel should remain liquid.
Step 2
In a blender, cream the butter with sugar, then add the egg.
Step 3
Gradually add the flour and baking powder and mix.
Step 4
Line a baking dish with parchment paper, spread the dough evenly.
Step 5
Place the plums on the dough, having removed the skin beforehand. The plums should be slightly pressed into the dough and sprinkled with cinnamon.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes at 390°F.
