Prepare the ingredients.

Boil the mushrooms in salted water for 35–40 minutes.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the mushrooms from the brine.
Step 4
Transfer the mushrooms to a container (glass or enamel), layering with spices.
Step 5
Press the honey mushrooms down well so that the juice released covers them.
Step 6
Place a weight on top and store in a dark, cool place (the room should be about 65°F) for 1 week.
Step 7
