Pickled green tomatoes with lovage
Ingredients
- Mixed tomatoes of different colors 0 lbs
- Lovage 0 oz
- Nigella Seeds ½ teaspoon
- Dill ½ teaspoon
- Coriander essential oil ½ teaspoon
- Apple Cider Vinegar 20 fl oz
- Water 15 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Salt 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the tomatoes and lovage, and transfer them to sterilized jars.
Step 3
Pour boiling water into the jars and immediately drain it.
Step 4
Mix vinegar, water, salt, and sugar.
Step 5
In a dry skillet, toast the coriander, fennel, and dill seeds until fragrant.
Step 6
Add the spices to the marinade and bring it to a boil.
Step 7
Pour the hot marinade into the jars and seal them. Allow to cool completely, then store in the refrigerator.
Step 8
The pickled green tomatoes can be tasted after 20 days.
