Peruvian Fish Soup
Ingredients
- Scorpion fish fillet 20 oz
- Fish Oil 25 fl oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice 2 pieces
- Potato 15 oz
- Thyme 1 teaspoon
- Lime ½ piece
- Cilantro 0 oz
- Shrimp 15 oz
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a pot, sauté the onion for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the garlic and chili and sauté for another 30 seconds.
Step 3
Add the potato, fish stock, and salt. Cook for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add the fish and lime to the broth and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Add the shrimp and bring to a boil.
Step 6
Remove the lime and squeeze its juice into the soup.
Step 7
Serve, garnished with cilantro.
