- Sugar 5 oz
- Rosé Dry Wine 25 fl oz
- Lemon ¼ piece
- Pears 2 pieces
- Vanilla Pod ½ piece

Step 1
In a pot, combine the champagne, sugar, grated lemon zest, and vanilla. Bring to a boil.
Step 2
Peel the pears and place them in the syrup (if the pears are very large, add another glass of water to ensure the liquid fully covers the fruit).
Step 3
Reduce the heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the pears are tender.
Step 4
Leave the pears in the syrup for 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
