Pear in Abbricots Sauce
Ingredients
- Conference Pear 4 pieces
- Red Grape Juice 0 qt
- Cinnamon 4 pieces
- Ground clove 12 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 piece
- Whipped Cream 0 fl oz
- Strawberry 2 pieces
- Fresh Mint 4 sprigs
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the pears, remove the core, keeping the fruit intact.
Step 2
In a large pot, bring the wine, cinnamon, cloves, sugar, and lemon zest to a boil.
Step 3
Place the pears in the boiling wine and simmer for 25–30 minutes until softened, turning them constantly.
Step 4
Strain the wine through a sieve into another pot and cook until thickened over medium heat.
Step 5
Cool the cooked pears, arrange them on plates, drizzle with the hot sauce, and garnish with whipped cream, strawberry slices, and mint sprigs.
