Ingredients

  • Pears 30 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Baking Powder 0 oz
  • Cocoa Powder 1 tablespoon
  • Milk 5 fl oz
  • Walnuts 5 oz
  • Mini Chocolate Chips 5 oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice to taste

Mix sugar and butter until a homogeneous, frothy state is achieved.

Then beat the eggs.

In a second bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa, sifting these ingredients first. Then pour the milk into the bowl.

Chop the walnuts coarsely.

Combine the two mixtures and finally add the chocolate and walnuts.

If using fresh pears, they should be cut, peeled, and drizzled with lemon juice.

Place the batter in a large baking dish, then arrange the pear slices on top and press them into the batter.
