Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Eggs 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Cornstarch 5 oz
- Baking Powder 3 teaspoons
- Shredded Coconut 5 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Canned Pears in Light Syrup 15 oz
- Canned Apricots 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the butter out of the refrigerator an hour before cooking and leave it at room temperature.
Step 2
Place the canned fruits in a colander and let them drain excess liquid.
Step 3
In a deep bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, shredded coconut, and baking powder.
Step 4
Beat the room temperature butter with the sugar, then add the eggs one at a time.
Step 5
Next, fold in the mixture of dry ingredients, pour in the milk, and stir everything until smooth.
Step 6
Take a 28 cm springform pan, fill it with the batter, and alternately layer the pears and apricots on top.
Step 7
Bake at 345°F for 40 minutes.
