Pear and Almond Muffins

Ingredients

  • Pears 3 pieces
  • Chopped almonds 5 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Milk 0 fl oz
  • Baking Powder 5 oz
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Ground Nutmeg to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Chop the nuts, and dice the pears into small cubes (if desired, add cinnamon).

Step 2

Cream the softened butter with the sugar (or beat with a mixer).

Step 3

Now pour in the milk and add the eggs. Mix well.

Step 4

Add the flour with baking powder, then incorporate the nuts and pears.

Step 5

Let the batter rest for a bit. Treat yourself to some coffee, then pour the batter into the molds. (Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top of the batter).

Step 6

Place the mold(s) in the preheated oven at 355°F. Bake for 25–30 minutes.

Step 7

Once the muffins have cooled, serve them.
