Peach-Lime Sherbet
Ingredients
- Water 1½ cups
- Sugar 0.6 cups
- Light Corn Syrup 2 tablespoons
- Donut Peaches 20 oz
- Grated Lemon Zest 1 teaspoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Lime Juice 6 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and corn syrup. Add halved peaches, bring to a boil, and cook covered for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Transfer the peaches to a blender along with the syrup and add lime zest, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth. Then chill for a few hours.
Step 3
Freeze in an ice cream maker or transfer to a container and place in the freezer for about 6 hours, stirring every 45 minutes.
