Peach Galettes
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 piece
- Amaretto Liqueur 2 tablespoons
- Water 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Rub the butter, flour, and salt together with your hands until crumbly.
Step 3
Add the lemon zest, salt, and sugar.
Step 4
Add amaretto and water one tablespoon at a time. Knead the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour. Once the dough is chilled, divide it into 4 round pieces and roll each circle to a thickness of 0.5 cm.
Step 5
Cut the peach in half and make cuts with a small knife to create a fan shape. Place half of the peach in the center of the circle and pinch the edges. Place the peach galettes on a parchment-lined baking sheet, adding a piece of butter on top of each peach and sprinkling with sugar to taste.
Step 6
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
