  • Butter 10 oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Sour Cream 0 oz
  • Sugar 10 oz
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Carrot 0 fl oz
  • Condensed Milk 1 can
  • Beetroot 0 fl oz
  • Nuts 10 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix sugar (100 g) with eggs.

Step 2

Combine softened butter (100 g) with sour cream.

Step 3

Combine the two mixtures, add flour with baking powder, and knead thoroughly.

Step 4

Roll the dough into a log and divide it into twenty equal parts. Shape into slightly elongated balls.

Step 5

Bake at 355°F until lightly golden (10–15 minutes). Do not overbake, or they will become hard.

Step 6

Make indentations for the cream on the flat side of the still warm cookies.

Step 7

For the cream, whip the butter (150 g) with the condensed milk.

Step 8

Fill the cooled cookies with cream, place a nut inside, and join the halves. Remove any excess cream.

Step 9

Dip the finished cookies in carrot juice, and use a brush to apply beet juice, creating the appearance of a rosy cheek. Alternatively, you can simply dip one side into a bowl of beet juice.

Step 10

Immediately roll the moist cookies in the remaining sugar and let them sit for about half an hour — the sugar will adhere and not fall off.
