Peach and Ice Cream Pie
Ingredients
- Canned Peaches 20 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Vanillin 0 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Vanilla Ice Cream 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with half of the sugar until soft peaks form.
Step 2
Whisk the yolks with the remaining half of the sugar, add room temperature butter, and mix well, then add the vanillin.
Step 3
Mix the flour and baking powder and add to the butter mixture. Then fold in the egg whites and mix well.
Step 4
Open the can of peaches and drain the syrup. Add the syrup to the batter and mix well.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 355°F. Pour most of the batter into a greased and floured baking dish. Then place the peaches (I used peach halves) on top and pour the remaining batter over them. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
Step 6
Serve the pie with ice cream and powdered sugar.
