Peach Almond Pie
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Large eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 1¼ cups
- Baking Powder ¼ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Donut Peaches 25 oz
- Ground Cinnamon ½ teaspoon
- Chopped almonds 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Grease a round (25 cm) or square (23 cm) baking pan with butter.
Step 3
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with sugar, reserving 2 tablespoons, until creamy. Then add the eggs one at a time and the vanilla.
Step 4
Peel and pit the peaches, then cut them into small pieces — about 4 cups.
Step 5
In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly, while mixing with a mixer, add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, then gently fold in the peaches.
Step 6
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with the reserved sugar and cinnamon mixture, then with almond flakes.
Step 7
Bake until done for about 45–50 minutes, checking with a toothpick. Cool for 20 minutes and serve.
