
Pea Soup with Ham

Ingredients
- Frozen green bean pods 10 oz
- Salad Potatoes 4 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Water 3 tablespoons
- Ham 10 oz
- Chicken Broth 0 qt
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Parsley 0 oz
- Dill 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Ground Caraway to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion and sauté it with butter in a special pot for 5 minutes. Add the peas, diced potatoes, pour in half of the broth, stir, and cook for 25 minutes (stirring twice).
Step 2
Cool half of the cooked peas and potatoes and mash them to a puree consistency. Place in the pot where the soup was cooked, add the remaining broth, diced ham, stir, season with salt and spices. Stir again and heat in a closed container in the microwave on high for 7–8 minutes. Sprinkle the finished soup with chopped herbs.
