Pea Flatbreads
Ingredients
- Pea shoots 5 oz
- Yogurt powder 15 oz
- Clarified Butter 5 fl oz
- Water 0 fl oz
- Ground Cinnamon a pinch
- Salt 1 teaspoon
- Black Cumin (Cumin) 1 teaspoon
- White Pepper (whole) a pinch
- Red Long Chili Peppers 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the peas overnight.
Step 2
Rinse them and pass through a meat grinder, or blend in a blender.
Step 3
Add a little water to make a paste-like dough. Knead the spices into the dough.
Step 4
Prepare a salt solution from a pinch of salt and a glass of water.
Step 5
Dipping your hands in the salt solution, form small flatbreads from the pea paste and place them on a preheated, oiled skillet.
Step 6
Fry the flatbreads on low heat until they turn yellow-brown, then transfer them to the salt solution for 5–6 minutes. After that, let them dry.
Step 7
Mix the yogurt with cinnamon and black pepper and pour it over the flatbreads.
