Description
The cream can be replaced with ready-made whipped cream from a can. Assemble the dessert just before serving.
Ingredients
- Eggs 4 pieces
- Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
- Powdered Sugar 10 oz
- Potato starch 1 teaspoon
- 35% Cream 10 fl oz
- Fruits to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Step 2
Beat the egg whites with lemon juice at medium speed until light foam forms (1–2 minutes). Then add the powdered sugar, increase the speed to maximum, and beat until stiff peaks form (5–7 minutes). Next, add the starch and fold in with a spatula.
Step 3
Transfer the meringue to a piping bag. On a baking sheet, shape the meringue into nests. Dry in the oven at 195°F (1 hour 20 minutes). Leave the meringues in the oven to cool completely.
Step 4
For the cream, whip very cold cream with powdered sugar. Start at a low speed, gradually increasing it.
Step 5
Use any fruits and berries for decoration.
