
Pavlova Cake

Description
This Australian dessert is named after the famous ballerina Anna Pavlova.
Ingredients
- Egg white 4 pieces
- Raw cane sugar 10 oz
- Corn Starch 2 teaspoons
- Vinegar essence 1 teaspoon
- Cream 15 fl oz
- Passion Fruit 3 pieces
- Strawberry to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a bowl, place the egg whites with a pinch of salt and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat. Beat until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3
Gently fold in the cornstarch and vinegar into the egg whites using a metal spoon.
Step 4
Spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet in a mound. Bake for 1 hour or until the meringue is crisp. Remove from the oven and carefully transfer to a serving plate. Allow to cool.
Step 5
Lightly whip the cream and spread it on top of the meringue. Garnish with halved strawberries and passion fruit pulp.
