Pastel de Nata
Ingredients
- Heavy cream 5 fl oz
- Puff Pastry 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
- Citrus Zest Mix 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Vanillin 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan, mix the flour and heavy cream. Add the vanillin, large pieces of zest, powdered sugar, and stir. Incorporate the egg yolks while mixing.
Step 2
Place on heat and cook until thickened, stirring constantly to prevent burning! Then remove the zest.
Step 3
Roll the puff pastry into a log, slice it, and place it in muffin tins, spreading the pastry along the sides.
Step 4
Fill the pastry with the cream.
Step 5
Place in a preheated oven at 390°F for 30 minutes.
