- Vegetable Oil 30 fl oz

Step 1
Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat to 355°F.
Step 2
Peel the parsnip and slice it into long strips using a mandoline.
Step 3
Fry the parsnip in the oil in three batches, stirring, for about 40 seconds to 1 minute per batch, until golden brown but soft inside. Place on a paper towel and lightly sprinkle with salt. Once the parsnip cools, it should become crispy.
