  • Lard 5 oz
  • Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 0 oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Green Peas 0 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Cream 6 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil 6 tablespoons
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Caraway ¼ teaspoon
  • Sugar ½ teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 300°F.

Step 2

Cut the lard into thin slices and fry in a dry skillet. Then place on paper to drain the fat.

Step 3

Beat the eggs with salt, pepper, and sugar until the mixture increases in volume. While continuing to beat, add the olive oil and cream. Gradually add the sifted flour and yeast, then mix in the lard, Parmesan, green peas, and caraway seeds. Stir well.

Step 4

Pour the batter into a baking dish greased with butter. Bake for 40 minutes.

Step 5

Allow the cake to cool and remove it from the mold.
