Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the papaya in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds using a tablespoon.

Step 2

Soak the gelatin in room temperature water for seven to ten minutes.

Step 3

In a saucepan, combine the gelatin, milk, and sugar, stirring continuously, and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour the resulting milk mixture into the hollowed-out cavity of the papaya that has been cleaned of seeds. Refrigerate for two to three hours to set.

Step 4

When the milk thickens, take out the papaya and carefully slice it into pieces with a sharp knife.
