Panna Cotta with Rooibos Tea
Ingredients
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Rooibos Tea Bags 2 pieces
- Vanilla salt 1 tablespoon
- Cream (40%) 5 fl oz
- Gelatin 3½ pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring the milk to a boil, remove from heat, add the tea, and steep for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Soak the gelatin according to the instructions. Remove the tea bags, add sugar and vanilla sugar to the milk.
Step 3
Heat again until the sugar dissolves. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve, squeeze the gelatin, and dissolve it in the warm milk mixture.
Step 4
Place the container in the refrigerator until the first signs of gelling appear.
Step 5
Whip the cream and gradually fold it into the milk mixture. Pour into molds or cups.
Step 6
The flavor of the tea is quite subtle here; those who prefer a stronger taste can brew 3 tea bags.
