Description

You can use any syrup or Baileys liqueur instead of jam for the layer.

Ingredients

  • 33% Cream 5 fl oz
  • Gelatin 0 oz
  • Whole egg 1 piece
  • Powdered Sugar 3 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the gelatin in water and let it swell.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, bring the cream and powdered sugar to a boil (do not boil), stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, mix the yolk and swollen gelatin, then incorporate them into the cream without bringing it to a boil.

Step 4

Strain and pour half of the mixture into dessert cups or glasses. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes. Keep the remaining mixture warm.

Step 5

Remove the glasses from the freezer, spread a thin layer of jam over the set dessert, pour the remaining mixture on top, and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 6

Garnish with jam or berries when serving.
