Ingredients

  • Mandarins 6 pieces
  • Cointreau 4 tablespoons
  • Candied fruits 2 tablespoons
  • Powdered Sugar 0 oz
  • Custard 3 tablespoons
  • Milk 15 fl oz
  • Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Brandy 2 tablespoons
  • Heavy cream 15 fl oz
  • Panettone 10 oz
  • Chocolate to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Whip together the citrus juice, zest, and liqueur with powdered sugar, then add the candied fruits and let it steep until the fruits slightly swell.

Step 2

Meanwhile, mix the custard concentrate with milk and sugar as directed in the custard instructions. Add the brandy and cover with plastic wrap. Chill.

Step 3

Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Step 4

In a serving dish, approximately 2 liters in volume, layer the panettone cut into thin slices to cover the bottom. Then add a layer of candied fruits, followed by the brandy cream and a thick layer of whipped cream. Chill.

Step 5

Top with grated chocolate in large pieces.
