Pancakes with Apple and Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
- Sugar 4 tablespoons
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Apple 3 pieces
- Meyer Lemon Juice to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
- Butter 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the pancake batter: combine and mix the milk, eggs, flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and salt until smooth. Pour the vegetable oil into the prepared batter.
Step 2
Cook thin pancakes on a hot skillet greased with vegetable oil.
Step 3
Remove the cores and peel from the apples.
Step 4
Grate the apples on a coarse grater.
Step 5
Melt the butter in a skillet.
Step 6
Sauté the apple mixture until it turns caramel in color.
Step 7
During the sautéing process, add sugar to taste (the amount depends on the sweetness of the apples).
Step 8
Lightly drizzle with lemon juice if desired.
Step 9
Add cinnamon.
Step 10
Sauté for another 5–7 minutes.
Step 11
Place the apple filling in the center of the pancake and fold the pancake into an envelope shape.
Step 12
Lightly sauté the pancake envelopes in butter.
Step 13
Serve with natural yogurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
