Owl Muffins
Baking and Desserts • Author's
Description
The amount of ingredients can be varied depending on the number of cookies. Remember that the number of cookies in a package should be divided by 2. I usually take 2 small packs of M&M’s, just in case there aren’t enough brown candies (it’s hard to predict). On average, you get about 10 owls or fewer (2 packs of cookies).
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla salt 1 teaspoon
- Oreo Cookies 2 pieces
- M&M's candies to taste
- Nutella® 1 jar
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, we bake the chocolate muffins. Crack the egg into the milk.
Step 2
Add the flour (sifted beforehand) to the mixture. Whisk it.
Step 3
Add sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla sugar, and mix everything thoroughly with a mixer.
Step 4
Melt the butter (100 g) and add it to the batter.
Step 5
Grease the muffin tins with the remaining butter and fill them with the batter, not to the very top.
Step 6
Bake the muffins in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Next, decorate the muffins with cookies and candies.
Step 8
If the muffins have risen too much or have a very domed top, it’s better to trim it.
Step 9
Spread Nutella on top.
Step 10
Split the Oreo cookies into 2 halves; we will need the ones with the white filling (it’s best to separate them with a knife). Place the cookies with the white cream side up. The dark halves can be cut into thin strips to make eyebrows.
Step 11
Use M&M’s candies without nuts (brown package): place the brown candies on the white filling as pupils, and insert yellow or orange ones (whichever you prefer) into the Nutella below the eyes as the beak.
