Oranges with Almonds, Dates, and Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Oranges 2 pieces
- Pitted olives 6 pieces
- Chopped almonds 1½ tablespoons
- Lemon 1 piece
- Ground Cinnamon a pinch
- Sugar 1½ tablespoons
- Whipped Cream 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel two large oranges and divide them into segments. Carefully remove the white membranes from the segments and cut the pulp into pieces (about 1.5 cm thick).
Step 2
Chop the pitted dried dates into small pieces.
Step 3
Squeeze the juice from the lemon and dissolve the sugar in it.
Step 4
Mix the orange pieces with the dates and almond flakes.
Step 5
Pour the salad with the lemon juice and sugar mixture and chill it thoroughly in the refrigerator for 1.5-2 hours.
Step 6
Before serving, place in dessert bowls, sprinkle with cinnamon, and add whipped cream.
