Ingredients
- Sugar 1 cup
- Cream (40%) ½ cup
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 teaspoon
- Oranges 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan over high heat, combine sugar and ¼ cup of water. Reduce to medium heat and cook without stirring until it reaches a brown caramel state, about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Reduce to low heat. Carefully stir in the cream into the caramel and mix with a wooden spoon. Remove from heat.
Step 3
Add lemon juice and butter to the caramel. Mix well until smooth.
Step 4
Peel the oranges and slice them thinly. Arrange on plates and drizzle with the sauce.
