Orange Sorbet with Campari

Ingredients

  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Water 10 fl oz
  • Oranges 3 pieces
  • Campari 5 fl oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a saucepan, mix water and sugar, place over medium heat, and cook until the sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook for another 4 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 2

Squeeze the orange juice, mix it with lemon juice and Campari. Stir in the sugar syrup. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 3

Remove the sorbet from the refrigerator and transfer it to an ice cream maker and churn for 20–40 minutes. Then transfer to a container and place in the freezer for 4–5 hours until fully set.

Step 4

If you don't have an ice cream maker, immediately transfer the sorbet to a container and place it in the freezer. Take the container out and stir the contents every 10-15 minutes until fully set.
