Description

If you bake the pie immediately at 180 degrees Celsius (or higher, depending on the oven) for 15 minutes to let the top set, then reduce the temperature to 140–150 degrees Celsius, the crust will turn out crispy. You can also sprinkle it with grated almonds.

  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Sugar 10 oz
  • Vanilla salt 2 teaspoons
  • Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sea Buckthorn to taste
  • Oranges 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients. The batter should have the consistency of sour cream or slightly thicker; you may need more flour than specified. Optionally, you can add a teaspoon of rum.

Step 2

Sprinkle the bottom of the baking dish with sea buckthorn (fresh or thawed).

Step 3

Pour the batter on top and bake for about 30 minutes at a temperature of 170–355°F.

Step 4

When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
