Orange Sauce
Ingredients
- Lemon 1 piece
- Oranges 4 pieces
- Sugar 5 oz
- Potato protein 1 teaspoon
- Cointreau 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Juice the oranges and peel the lemon thinly. Combine everything along with the sugar in a saucepan and place over low heat — stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the starch with 3 tablespoons of water. Once the mixture is smooth, add it to the saucepan with the sauce. Cook, stirring constantly, for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat, add the liqueur, strain into a pitcher, and let cool.
Step 3
Store in the refrigerator. This sauce is great with baked desserts and ice cream.
