Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Oranges 1 piece
- Sugar ½ cup
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
- Vanilla extract to taste
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Squeeze the juice from the orange.
Step 2
Cream the butter with sugar, then add the vanilla extract.
Step 3
Add the eggs to the butter mixture and beat well.
Step 4
Add the orange juice and zest, and mix everything well.
Step 5
Add the flour with the baking powder.
Step 6
Knead the dough — it should be neither too liquid nor too stiff.
Step 7
Grease the muffin molds with butter (either dairy or vegetable).
Step 8
Bake the muffins in the oven at 180–390°F for 20 minutes.
Step 9
Carefully remove the zest from the orange — only the orange part.
