Orange Granita with Berry Jam

Ingredients

  • Orange juice concentrate 15 fl oz
  • Water 15 fl oz
  • Lemon 1 piece
  • Sugar 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place sugar and a bit of lemon zest in a small saucepan with water. Heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Cool and remove the lemon zest.

Step 2

Juice the oranges (store-bought juice can be used).

Step 3

Mix the orange juice and syrup, squeeze the juice of one lemon, and stir. Freeze for 1 hour.

Step 4

Remove from the freezer and stir with a fork to break into crystals. Return to the freezer for another hour, then stir again. Repeat 3-4 times until the desired texture is achieved, then freeze until needed.

Step 5

Scoop the granita into glasses and top with berry jam.
